Mock Drill on Earth quake and Fire Accident at Gen. Hospital Khonsa.

Khonsa 30th August, 2019 : The District Disaster Management Authority, under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner Tirap, organized Disaster Awareness programme and a mock exercise on Earthquake and Fire accident at General Hospital Khonsa today (30.08.2019). The mock drill was conducted under the supervision of Mr. P Duggong DDMO Khonsa.
The drill was participated by the all the staff of general Hospital Khonsa under the leadership of Dr. K Mosang, DMO and Dr. K Socia Hospital Suptd. The police and fire service personnel also participated in the programme. Earlier on the day a similar programme was conducted in the Divisional Office of PWD Khonsa, on the occasion Shri T Maji, AE PWD appreciated the team for conducting the awareness programme in their office, further he advised the staff to remember all the safety tips learned and also share with family and friends for a safer society. Shri P Duggong stated that such awareness programme and drill shall be carried out in all major government establishment of the district including Deputy Commissioner Office Khonsa, Addl Deputy Commissioner Office Deomali, CCF office Deomali and also in schools.
SP Khonsa Shri K Riba while participating in the exercise appreciated the teams for their performance and advised them to make such drill in regular interval and take all precautionary measures to avoid any mishap during such drill.
