District Administration Conducts Jan Sunwai Sammelan at Khonsa

The Tirap District Administration conducted “Jan Sunwai Sammelan” at DC’s office, Khonsa here on Saturday amidst huge participations of Public, Tirap Widows Welfare Association, GBs, Students and government employees from the district.

While interacting the huge gatherings of Public including womens widows of Tirap, GBs, farming community and educated unemployed youths, the ADC Techu Aran suggested them to avail all benefits under PM/CM Flagship schemes and for which Aadhar Card and Bank Account need to be obtained from the concerned authority compulsorily as all bills under various government schemes including old aged pension, widow pension, students stipend shall be made DBT (Direct Benefits Transfer) system.

Shri Rongam Rangyang, Believer church leader of New Tupi on behalf of Tirap Widows Welfare Association “TWWA” appealed all the government officers to cooperate / help the widows in obtaining Aadhaar Card, Bank Accounts opening and other facilities for well being of women widows of the district. Rangyang said that there are more than 300 widows women in the district who are facing untold problems to support their livelihood and children education as well.

All heads of department and its supporting staff headed by Additional Deputty Commissioner Techu Aran offered services including distribution of 303 Nos. 9w LED bulbs and pamphlet under PM Ujala Scheme, Aadhaar enrolment 5 Nos, Aadhaar correction 9 Nos. under DSO (Statistical) department, DF&CSO Issued 150 Ration Card forms, 92 LPG Form issued for free of cost LPG connection under PM Ujjwala scheme, Issued S/T Certificate form 58 Nos., PRC forms 34 Nos., ILP form 7 Nos. and Govt. Identity Card – 4 Nos. under Jan Suvidha, DTO (Transport) issued 50 Nos. Learners Form, 5 Nos. Renewal Form and 1 No. Registration., The SBI, Khonsa under PM Jivan Jyoti Bima Yojana PMJJBY – 150 Form issued, PM Suraksha Bima Yojana PMSBY 150 Forms issued, Internet Banking Form 50 Nos. issued, ATM Form 100 Nos. issued. Krishi Rinn Yojana bank loan sanction letter for Rs. 43,000/- each to 4(four) beneficiaries was handed over by ADC Techu Aran in presence of SBI Khonsa officers Hitlan Hazarika and Phongwang Matey. The ADC also distributed 60 Nos. of Soil Health Cards as a symbolic and rest will be distributed shortly as many as 933 SHCs have been generated so far covering all the circles in presence of DDA Pangnye Khoisia and Agriculture staff.

The BDO Khonsa Shri Jangpong Tangjang issued Income certificates and Job Cards to the applicants.
The department of PHE&WS, Khonsa led by Er. Bamang Tasung and Consultant Doii Tarak imparted awareness training and demonstrated with the help of Kits about using boiled water to avoid water borne diseases and urged all to live a hygienic life by using sanitary toilets.

The District Informatics Officer (NIC), Khonsa Rakesh Das has started Online ILP service here today. Moreover, a new website of Tirap district as per guidelines from Govt. of India has also been activated.
The department of Health & Family Welfare, Education department, District Industries Centre, Legal Metrology, Block Development Officer, Khonsa, ICDS, Tax & Excise, Judicial Branch, Land Records department, Labour Employment, Power department also offered services / imparted awareness to the public of Tirap on various schemes under their respective departments.

Training on CM Dashboard held at Khonsa

 

StDashboardaffers of the health and education departments, along with the DPO and the ADO participated in a training programme on the CM’s Dashboard application, held here on Monday.

Tirap District Informatics Officer Rakesh Das and E-Governance Officer Tilling Tamang explained the functioning and purpose of the application.

The CM Dashboard is a software application which will be used by the chief minister’s office and the district administrations to monitor the progress of projects in the districts. (DIPRO)
